I think I have been making sales through clickbank but my commissions are getting stolen. How can viruses in my computer steal? I hear it happens but I need to understand. Clickbank affiliate links are always encrypted to avoid that. But I still get robbed. Plus let me please ask, should I trust these free url shortening and redirecting services like bit. Ly, tinyurl etc. Could they be the thiefs? I really need to understand how to best protect myself given I have no money for a website. I use social sites like facebook and actually some of my friends confirm they bought through my links but I see no money. Should I stop using bit. Ly to cloak my links and tinyurl. Essentially — I would think the evil software is attacking your visitors systems, there are said to be browser tool bars that contain ode that recognizes affiliate addresses and automatically replaces the affiliate ID with the toolbar makers account, I wold think the new encryption eliminates this, unless it reads the decoded address that appears at the final page. There are also cookie stuffers that can replace your stored affiliate code that entitles you to "any sale within the next 90 days" There might be conditions where they are not crediting you account, like clicking your own links perhaps. Some physical product affiliations only report sales at the months end.

I was thinking about starting about a blog, but I found a long list of affiliates that won't deal with people in my state due to tax laws. Amazon and adsense are on it.
