You will have to spend lots of money on promotion of the product to make profit through internet.

Fact – If you want to be a successful internet marketer, then put the majority of your efforts into building a subscriber base instead of just promoting the product itself. Include strong testing, good website design, and consistent follow-ups. This will reduce the cost to some extent. If you do not pay attention to this fact then it may be tough for you to make your business successful.

Most of the real life firms spend a lot of money per month on the PPC (Pay-per-click) campaigns. Still they are not able to generate required results because they don’t test their results properly. Throwing money away this way won’t increase sales.

Myth 3

You will see results within months and know whether you succeed or failed in affiliate marketing.

Fact – it is very hard to predict the exact amount of time you will take to get success. It entirely dependent on your hard work. You must have noticed that all the big internet marketers have spent a lot of time in building a big domain with large mailing lists and website visitors. You also need to have patience and work hard to achieve the desired results.

   Is affiliate marketing a myth?
   I believe that affiliate marketing is a myth. I have tried everythinh but it doesn't work. Maybe is the luck of time, maybe the fact that i haven't the ability to write well. I don't know what else to say but affiliate marketing doesn't work for me.

   It doesn't work for a lot of people. The main affiliate earners I've seen have been in the business for years and years, and often have teams of more than 1 person.

   Its just a way for businesses to promote themselves with other peoples money. when people click a commission link they rarely join on that particular day so when they're ready to sign up they would just Google the company name and not join via your commission link. waste of time if you ask me.

   however, I actually make a living online so I know of some legit websites that can make you some decent money that don't involve affiliate marketing.

   Affiliate marketing is all about the marketer. If you don't have a good foundation, mentor, or a good business mindset you are not going to succeed. Its not a myth to all only to those who choose not to do their research first then get caught up in scams. If you'd like to get into affiliate marketing know your stuff and get a good mentor.    Making money on the Internet is not a get rich overnight scheme. If it were that easy everyone would be doing it, making millions of dollars a year from the comfort of their homes. If you are not willing to put in the time to learn the proper Internet Marketing techniques there is no point in even considering Internet marketing.
